Ascencion: Chronicle of the Godslayer is a card roleplay and strategy game where players have to confront opponents controlled by either the computer or other gamers.
Gameplay in Ascension, despite being designed by veterans of Magic: The Gathering, is completely unlike the latter and other similar games. The aim of Ascension is not so much to directly defeat your opponent but rather outdo him in a different way.
In Ascension victory is obtained by earning more honor than your opponent, and to do so you'll have to use cards from your deck to get new cards and confront monsters not controlled by your opponent. This means that while you can try to keep your opponent from winning, you can't attack him directly.
You can play Ascension either alone, against the computer's different difficulty levels, or against other human players online. In addition, you can play asynchronously; that is, you don't have to be stuck to your device for hours, but rather can take your turn and return to the game after a little bit.
Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer is a highly entertaining card-dueling game that, after becoming one of the best titles in the genre for iOS, has finally arrived to Android to offer an outstanding gaming experience.
